This fall, 137 schools across Manitoba participated in the MMSM Bag Up Manitoba program, keeping 1,106,723 plastic bags out of the landfills.

The Bag up Manitoba – Plastic Bag Challenge officially launched on Wednesday at Sargent Park School. During the month of October we are asking schools to collect as many plastic bags for recycling as they can.
