Today, for the sixth consecutive year, Bag up Manitoba – Plastic Bag Challenge launched at Linden Meadows School. Running from October 1 to October 30, students are encouraged to collect as many plastic bags as possible for recycling. Each school will receive a planter box just for participating and 15 lucky schools will win a school bench made out of plastic bags.

In 2014, 40,000 students from 167 schools across Manitoba collected almost 1.6 million plastic bags. Let’s all work together to make 2015 another huge success!
