A new recycling depot is now open in east Winnipeg. Located at Panet Road and Mission Street, this new depot replaces two existing depots at:

  • Ravelston Avenue and Chrislind Street, which closed  permanently on June 30, 2014, and
  • the Southdale recycling depot at Fermor Avenue and Lakewood Boulevard, which will be closing permanently effective August 31, 2014.

All Winnipeg recycling depots are open 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. They accept the same materials as the curbside recycling program. For a list of depot locations and materials visit Winnipeg.ca.

Visit RecycleManitoba.ca for a list of local collection sites for those items that don’t belong in your blue box. These items include electronics, paint, tires, batteries, used oil containers, medications, thermostats and household recycling.
