Plastic Bags
Plastic bags can be made into dozens of useful new products, such as building and construction products, low-maintenance fencing and decking, and of course, new bags. In Manitoba, plastic bags are not accepted through Blue Box collection, but they can be dropped off at many retailers who accept the return of single use plastic bags.
Plastic bags are primarily made from natural gas, so recycling this material allows this energy to be made into new products or recovered for its energy value.
