Multi-Material Stewardship Manitoba Inc. in partnership with the Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association and its Recycle Everywhere program launched a new project last week called the Single Family Dwelling Project, or the SFD Project. In the next month, homes in the Point Douglas neighbourhood in Winnipeg will all receive a small recycling bin for inside the home.
This bin will make recycling more convenient and more accessible. Along with the bin, a recycling guide and magnet with information on what can and cannot be recycled will be included. And the biggest benefit of all – it’s FREE!
