Slurpees are a Manitoba summertime staple. Here’s what to do with the cup, lid, and straw next time you get one.
After you’re finished your Slurpee (hopefully you didn’t get a brain freeze!), remove the lid and empty the cup before you put it in the bin.
Recyclable in your blue bin:
- Clear plastic lids
- Clear plastic cups
- Paper cups
Unaccepted items (Please don’t put these items in your blue bin.)
- Plastic and paper straws
- Cups with leftover liquid
